In questioning what an artwork is and can be the variability and sequential quality of colour is integrated into re-worked thought processes.   These thought processes are embodied within the pages of a notebook that can be easily replicated and re-represented as individual pieces.  

These Sketches are reproductions of ideas that were freshly drawn from conceptualisation.   In this, as they are re-worked, they become analogous to cognitive mapping and labelling.   They deal with the notion of an idea as an artwork in itself.
