'Au Dessus De to Hunters Tryst'

An exhibition as result of 'Go-Go 301h' a two week residency with Jennifer Picken at AWA Gallery and Overtoom 301, Amsterdam (6-19 May 2012). The work in the show was produced as a bi-product of battling, negotiating and living in the gallery. Found and altered materials or objects were adjusted to create a 'battle-ship' or game board space where each art work spoke to the next, in a similar, or at times entirely conflicting, language.

The second instalment of the performance 'Whistle Blower your table shine is mine: Seduce and Destroy', was also presented during the first week of the residency; this set the theatrical scene for a more static and prop-like exploration. Watch a video of the performance here.

The residency took place in order to further ideas produced during 'Parallèlement à l'intérieur (au-dessus de)’; a project developed for Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art 2012.
