I was born in 1985, in Sheffield (UK), and grew up in the North East Derbyshire town of Dronfield, which is just south of the Yorkshire border. I am now based in Glasgow, UK.

About my artwork

I create digital compilations, analogue displays, sculpture and oil paintings to make uncanny connections between researched subject matter.

My digital compilations include sound and video footage. They also feature documented sculptures and digitized photographic slides. I assemble my sculptures from found as well as functional objects. The oil paintings that I create are similarly accumulative; they depict landscapes and otherworldliness.

Editing and content production

From 2018 to 2023 I volunteered with Hedera Felix, which is an independent publisher based in Glasgow. I help manage editorial production for Mycelia; a magazine of weird and eerie themed writing as well as visual art.

From 2011 to 2015 I was co-editor of the artist-led publication series Gnommero. Using Italo Calvino’s Six Memos For The Next Millennium as a theme, I helped other artists and writers self-publish experimental texts, essays and visual art.

From 2009 to 2019 I worked with a-n The Artists Information Company. I produced online content and developed my own writing.
